We are delighted to announce that Doug of Style Photography has lifted another major title as Kodak Portrait Photographer of the Year. Doug beat-off stiff competition from 1000's of other entries to lift the prestegious trophy at the glittering award ceremony held on the 11th October at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle.
The awards which are run by the Master Photographers Association are one of the most respected within the photographic profession, Chief Executive Colin Buck was delighted with this years entries and paid tribute to Doug's success. "There was a great diversity of imagery and all entries were judged on artistic merit, lighting, composition and print quality. The winning entry was of a very high standard. and to recieve a Master Photography Award is a huge honour and I'm delighted for Doug's success.
Footnote: Congratulations goes to Leah Goodburn who as the subject of the winning portrait receives a digital camera and cheque from Kodak for £1000. The image was created at a Fresh makeover session with styling, make-up and creative imput from Doug's partner Sheila Mann .

Following a great day at the Click Convention at Watford with a gathering of 120 top accredited studios from the UK and Ireland Doug and Sheila were awarded the accolade of Fresh Fashion Photographer of the Year.
